    When to visit Anawangin, Zambales?
During the dry season from November to May. Do not visit Anawangin during the rainy/typhoon season (roughly from June to October) when the boat ride and the trek are not safe. Expect rough water around Capones Island until the start of the summer.

    What is the age restriction?
A child must be 6 years old and above to join the tour

What time do we leave Manila ? How to go to Anawangin cove?
For a trip with our van we leave Manila around 5:30am. The ride takes 3 to 4 hours from Manila (depending the traffic) using NLEX and SCTEX. If you bring your own car we will provide road directions and map on how to go to Pundaquit. You can also commute using Victory liner buses going to Iba or Sta. Cruz. In this case you will have to leave the bus in San Antonio and take a tricycle until brgy. Pundaquit.

What is the duration of the tour?
We currently offer two packages. The first is an overnight, two days and one night and you will camp at Anawangin beach (we provide the tents). The second one is a day trip.

    Where do we sleep?
There is no hotel or resort at the cove. This is purely a camping destination. You may not find comfort but the reason why you want to go there is to be one with mother nature and it is definitely worth it.

Is the Mt. Pundaquit trek difficult? Can we add it on the itinerary?
The hike can be done by first timers although some parts are a little steep. It will greatly help if you have trekking shoes and a trek pole. It lasts around 2 hours to reach the summit of Mt. Pundaquit and another two hours to go down to Anawangin cove beach. You will be rewarded with magnificent views over the sea. This option is only available for private tours.

Is food included in the package?
No, it's not but you can avail it as an add-on
    Can you provide the food
Yes. We offer an optional full board meal. Check the menu here. We will be the one carrying the food, cooking your meals and providing your utensils.

Is it safe to swim there?
It's safe to swim at Anawangin beach but not always at Capones Island. The beach and the waters are all very clean as there is no road or town around.

I am a travel agency, how can I book?
We regret to tell you that we only do direct sales through Internet and book all our clients directly.

    What should I bring?

    Anawangin cove Zambales

Anawangin cove, Zambales is not an island but a beach that you can reach by hiking or after a boat ride from Pundaquit as there is no road going there. Anawangin's name is said to come from the Ilocano word "Nuang" which refers to the carabaos that you can see in the area. One of the most interesting features of this area is the beautiful pine forest, mostly Agoho trees also called Whistling-pine in English. The sand on the beach is mixed with lahar, the ashes of Mt. Pinatubo 1991 eruption. There are several islands that you can also explore off the cost, like Camara or Capones. Capones island, called isla de gran capon during the spanish time has an historic lighthouse built in 1890 that you can still visit. Other coves like Silanguin or Nagsasa coves are also worth the visit.
